ICYM Kutma Festh, a vibrant gathering fostering unity among the youth of Udupi Deanery, was successfully organized by ICYM Udupi Deanery in collaboration with the ICYM Udupi Unit on Sunday, 14 September.
The event officially opened with a warm welcome from Clinton, followed by an inaugural ceremony during which youth and guests offered flowers and a harvest to Infant Mary, symbolizing gratitude and reverence. A meaningful talk session by V Rev Fr Charles on the topic “Disparity of Cult marriages” provided insightful reflections. The event also had engaging activities such as action songs, unity games, and a traditional Gumta performance showcasing Konkan culture.
Over 120 youth from nine parishes across the Deanery participated bringing a variety of food items to share during the festal lunch. Kutma Festh stood as a testament to the spirit of unity and the strength of youth coming together in love and fellowship for a common cause.
