1. Holy Communion will be brought to the sick and the elderly on 5th and 6th October (Monday and Tuesday).
2. On 18 October, a YCS Samavesh will be held at Karnarpady School. All YCS members are requested to participate. We kindly request you to show your generosity by contributing towards the expenses of this Samavesh when the YCS members visit your homes.
3. Mission Sunday calendars and envelopes will be distributed by the Gurkars. You are requested to donate generously for the missions.
4. On 12 October, there will be a Family Life Preparation Programme for the students of Classes 7, 8, 9 and 10. On 13 and 14 October, a two-day Jeevan Jyothi, Jeevan Disha and Jeevan Amruth Camp will be held for students of Classes 8 to 10. These programmes will be held at Kannarpady School. Bus service will be provided, those travelling by bus must report here at 8:15 a.m. Arrangements for their return will also be made.
5. In connection with the Mission Sunday celebration, next Sunday biryani will be sold. Biryani coupons will be distributed by the Gurkars to your families. Please collect the coupons and extend your support. Those who wish to sponsor the ingredients required to prepare the biryani, such as basmati rice, chicken, etc., may do so.
6. Mission Sunday calendars and covers have been kept in the meeting hall. Gurkars will distribute them to the families in their respective wards. Please put in your contribution according to your wish and return the calendars and covers after the Mission Sunday celebration.
7. At our St. Mary’s School, Karnarpady, the construction of the canteen and the indoor badminton court is currently in progress. We hope to inaugurate them sometime in December. There is no doubt that these facilities will be of great benefit to our children and the community. However, we need the generous support of donors to complete this construction. The total cost of the project is approximately ₹4 crore. Therefore, on the occasion of our Parish Annual Feast, we are planning to organize a Tulu drama at the school premises to raise some funds towards the construction. You can support this cause by becoming a sponsor of the drama in various ways. The ICYM members have taken the initiative to organize this programme to raise funds for the project. We request your generous support and cooperation.
8. Under the name “Nadige,” we are planning to collect footwear to be distributed to those in need. The footwear donated by your family should be in good and usable condition. Only footwear suitable for children above 8 years of age should be donated. You are requested to bring the footwear to the church premises by 18 October.
9. Last Sunday offertory collection is Rs. 37,917/- Thank you for your generous contribution.
