A momentous occasion at Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi, as 57 children received the Sacrament of Confirmation 🙏. The Holy Mass was presided over by Bishop Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, along with Parish Priest Fr. Charles Menezes, Assistant Priest Fr. Leo D’Souza, Fr. Vijay, and guest priest Fr. Valerian Pinto. The candidates were anointed with Holy Oil, symbolizing the coming of the Holy Spirit. Bishop Lobo reflected on the significance of the Holy Spirit’s presence, drawing inspiration from Mother Mary’s “Yes” to God’s will. Through Confirmation, the children are strengthened by the Spirit to live as true witnesses of Christ. The ceremony concluded with certificates and snacks for candidates.
