Catechism Day was celebrated at Mother of Sorrows Church during the 9:15 a.m. Children’s Mass, with students from Grade 1 to 10 with their parents participating.

The main celebrant was Fr. Leo D’Souza, with Fr. Vijay as the co-celebrant. In his inspiring sermon, Fr. Leo spoke about the difference between temptation and sin, explaining that while temptation itself is not a sin, giving in to it leads to sin. He encouraged the children to overcome temptations through prayer, the Word of God, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Following the Mass, a short program was held at Ave Maria Hall, where students who excelled in the Sunday Catechism were felicitated with prizes.

The celebration concluded with refreshments for all the children, making it a meaningful and joyful occasion.
