The Altar Servers, celebrated their Patron Saint Feast, St. John Berchmans Day, with great devotion and joy.

The celebration began with Holy Mass at 5:00 p.m., celebrated by Fr. Denis D’Sa, with            Fr. Leo Praveen as concelebrant. During the Mass, robes were distributed to 13 newly appointed altar servers, marking the beginning of their service at the altar.

This was followed by a brief formal gathering presided over  by Fr. Denis D’Sa, Fr. Leo Praveen, Fr. Vijay, PPC office bearers, and retired Bishop Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo.

Addressing the newly appointed altar servers, Bishop Gerald reminded them that many of the priests serving today were once altar servers themselves, encouraging the young boys to serve with dedication and faith.

The outgoing altar servers who had faithfully served for a long period were felicitated with gratitude, while those who served daily and without fail were honoured with prizes for their commitment.

Fun games and activities were also conducted, adding joy and excitement to the celebration. The programme concluded with a fellowship meal, bringing everyone together in a spirit of joy and brotherhood.
