A diocesan-level Christian unity and ecumenical prayer meet was held at Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi, on Monday at 6:30 p.m., with around 275 faithful in attendance. The service was presided over by Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of the Udupi Diocese, and Rev. Hemachandra Kumar, Bishop of the CSI Southern Diocese. Around 27 priests, pastors, and representatives from different Christian denominations participated. Rev. Fr. Viresh Moras called on Christians to remain united as one in Christ. The gathering was welcomed by Prashanth Jattanna, and Rev. Leo Praveen D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with fellowship and dinner.
