Udupi, Sunday, 25 October 2026:

“The Faith Formation Commission” conducted an orientation programme for catechism students and parents before the Children’s Mass, with Rev. Fr. Denis D’Sa, Parish Priest, and Rev. Fr. Leo Praveen, Assistant Parish Priest, as resource persons.

Fr. Denis stressed the importance of parents setting a good example through prayer, regular catechism attendance and Sunday Mass. Fr. Leo reminded everyone that catechism is not merely about examinations, but about understanding God’s Word, strengthening Christian faith, and living it through prayer, Bible reading, family Rosary, moral values, hard work, and caring and sharing.

The programme highlighted parents’ vital role in nurturing children to become faithful witnesses to Christ.
