The Health & Education Commission and the Faith Formation Commission of MOS Church jointly organized a program on “Growing Up Healthy” for young girls at the Ave Maria Hall, MOS Church.
The program commenced at 10:30 a.m. with breakfast and concluded at 12:30 p.m., followed by lunch.
The resource person for the session was Dr. Joyleen D’Almeida, Professor and Consultant Gynecologist at Fr. Muller Hospital. The program was presided over by Fr. Leo Praveen, Asat.Parish Priest, along with the PPC office bearers.
Around 40 girls in the age group of 6 to 12 years, accompanied by their mothers, attended the program. Approximately 80 participants were present.
Dr. Joyleen D’Almeida conducted an informative session on growing up healthy and emphasized the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, healthy habits, and self-care during the growing years.
The program was highly appreciated by the participants and proved to be both educational and beneficial for the young girls and their mothers.
