Udupi, 08 June 2026:

Under the theme Environmental Protection – Our Responsibility, Our Future, the Environment Commission, in collaboration with the Divya Women’s and Samruddhi Men’s Self-Help Groups, organized a tree-planting programme at St. Mary’s School grounds to mark World Environment Day.

The programme was inaugurated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Denis D’Sa, by planting a sapling. Participants planted various fruit-bearing trees, promoting environmental awareness and conservation.

The event was attended by Rev. Fr. Leo D’Souza, Rev. Fr. Vijay D’Souza, Principal of St. Mary’s School, commission coordinators, and members of the self-help groups.
