Udupi, 07-06-2026: MOS Church celebrated Faith Formation Day and the Inauguration of the Faith Formation Year 2026–27.

The solemn Eucharistic Celebration began with the Children’s Mass at 9:15 a.m. The Holy Mass was celebrated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Denis D’Sa, with Rev. Fr. Leo Praveen as the concelebrant.

Catechists, students, parents, and office bearers of the Parish Pastoral Council joined in the solemn procession. The inauguration was marked by the watering of saplings, symbolizing growth in faith, the distribution of catechism books to catechists and students, and the presentation of a Holy Bible to the Faith Formation Coordinator.

The liturgy was conducted by the catechists, while the homily was delivered by Rev. Fr. Leo Praveen, who encouraged the children and faithful to deepen their faith and actively participate in their faith formation journey throughout the year.

The celebration marked the beginning of a new year of faith formation, inspiring all to grow in faith, knowledge, and Christian values.
