Welcoming Ceremony of New Parish Priest

Mother of Sorrows Church joyfully welcomed Fr. Denis D’sa on 7th May at 5.00 p.m. as the 28th Priest-in-Charge of the parish. He officially took over the responsibility as the new Parish Priest after serving at St. Ann’s Church Thottam.

Parishioners from his previous parish accompanied him and bid him farewell with love and prayers. Our outgoing priest, Fr. Charles Menezes, along with PPC office bearers and the faithful, warmly welcomed the new priest. Fr. Stephen Dsouza led the oath ceremony and officially handed over the responsibility.

The programme was compered by Fr. Leo Praveen, followed by a small felicitation after the official takeover.

Several priests from the diocese were present for the ceremony, making it a prayerful and memorable occasion for the parish community.
