On Sunday, May 3rd, at Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi, our beloved Parish Priest, Fr. Charles Menezes, celebrated Thanksgiving mass before his transfer on May 8th. This was followed by a brief farewell ceremony, during which parish office bearers expressed their heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the parish family and presented a commemorative frame. Fr. Charles then addressed the parishioners with his message.

In the evening at 7 p.m., the Parish Council organized a farewell program, attended by priests, nuns, and PPC office bearers. PPC members shared their sentiments, and the office bearers presented a memento to him. Fr. Charles expressed his sincere thanks to all who worked with and supported him, and to all parishioners for their love and support. The program concluded with a fellowship meal.

We wish him God’s blessings and good luck in his new mission.
