The Altar Boys of Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi, joyfully celebrated Priest Day on 10th August 2024 at 4:00 p.m., in honor of St. John Mary Vianney, the patron of priests.

The programme began with President Rowin Noronha welcoming the gathering. Fr Charles Menezes, Parish Priest and Chief Guest, appreciated the altar boys for their commendable initiative. Fr Vijay D’Souza lauded their active participation in the Holy Mass, noting the encouraging increase in their attendance. Fr Leo Praveen D’Souza, Assistant Parish Priest, was also present on the occasion.

The event was compered by Royston Aranha and Justin Lobo. Secretary Raylon Lewis proposed the vote of thanks. Aden D’Souza and his team led the prayer song, a hymn in devotion to St. John Mary Vianney, and organized fun-filled games for all.

The celebration concluded with the serving of noodles and juice, marking a memorable and joy-filled evening for the altar boys.
