The feast of Mother of Sorrows, the patroness of Udupi Church was celebrated with gay and pomp on 15th September at 5pm with a concelebrated mass by 32 priests presided over by Fr Larry Pinto, Asst. Parish Priest of Attur, Karkal. He exhorted the people to accept God’s will as Mother Mary did as we had meditated on her 7 sorrows for the past 7 days during Salvi. Around 1000 faithful attended the celebration which was concluded with snacks and coffee along with housie housie conducted by ICYM/YCS Udupi. Mr Vincent Yevette Furtado and family were the Phirjenth while many contributed towards the success of the festal celebration.
