The camp was jointly organized by the Health commission of Udupi Diocese, Health Commission of MOS Church Udupi and Apporva Mahasangha, MOS Church Udupi.&nbsp; Members of Blood Bank Red Cross Society, Kundapur branch were the resource persons for the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>50 males and 6 females donated the blood. Total of 56 units of blood was collected during the camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One unit of blood can save up to 3 lives. 56 units of blood will be used primarily in hospitals and blood banks&nbsp;to save lives (around 160 patients).
